About The Position

This role is within the Outbound Logistics department and involves performing repair work and preventive maintenance on Meijer-owned Tractors and Trailers, adhering to Federal DOT standards. This job profile is not meant to be all-inclusive of the responsibilities of this position; may perform other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
- A combined of twelve months of experience in the following categories is required.
- A min of one year of experience on disc/drum abs air brake systems, mechanical and electrical diagnostics and repairs.
- Welding and Fabrication.
Responsibilities
- Perform all preventive maintenance and major repairs to all of Meijer owned rolling stock adhering to Federal DOT standards.
- Perform repair work and preventive maintenance on Meijer owned Tractor and Trailers.
