About The Position

Under direct supervision of the Chief Operating Officer, this position assists the Fleet Manager in maintaining our fleet of vehicles and equipment. This role models safety compliance, efficient time management, and fosters a collaborative work environment. The Fleet Mechanic is responsible for the responsible use and maintenance of company vehicles, equipment, tools, and workspace, ensuring they are kept neat and clean. They will conduct regular maintenance, order urgent repairs, and manage vehicle licensure and registration, adhering to all company policies and guidelines.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
3 years of Vehicle Maintenance Experience
3 years of Diesel Mechanic experience
CDL Class B with driving record meeting Company insurance requirements
Eligible to work in the United States including clearance to work on Federal Contracts

Responsibilities

Models safety compliance with all applicable safety rules and regulations, ensuring a safe work environment.
Models efficient time management; mentors less experienced field staff in technical expertise.
Works collaboratively and respectfully with all Snowbridge staff.
Uses Company vehicles, equipment, tools and work space responsibly, including keeping vehicles, equipment, tools and shop bays neat and clean, and returning tools and equipment to their designated storage areas.
Conducting regular maintenance on all vehicles
Ordering urgent or emergency repairs as needed
Managing vehicle licensure and registration
