Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of small engine repair and automotive systems.
Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Current CDL or ability and willingness to obtain CDL within 1 year of hire

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in mechanics or related field is preferred but not required.
ASE certifications
Graduation from a trade program or certificate program
Previous experience with heavy equipment and medium-duty trucks

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance tasks on landscaping equipment, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and trucks.
Diagnose mechanical issues and repair equipment in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
Conduct inspections and identify potential problems to prevent breakdowns and ensure safety.
Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed, including parts used and labor hours.
Assist with inventory management by tracking supplies and ordering parts as needed.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other team members to prioritize tasks and complete projects efficiently.
Have the ability to work in diverse weather conditions.
Open availability during the winter months due to the unpredictability of winter weather
