About The Position

The Fleet Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, performance, and regulatory compliance of the company’s fleet. This role ensures safe, reliable, and cost-effective transportation and asset utilization while providing strategic leadership and operational oversight.

Requirements

5–10 years of fleet management or transportation experience
Knowledge of the industry and general repairs for Class 2–8 trucks and Tree Work equipment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with Fleet Management Systems.

Nice To Haves

Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, DOT, and company safety policies.
Manage vehicle registration and inspection records
Manage daily repair decisions and preventive maintenance schedules for fleet assets.
Manage operations of the Fleet tracking systems.
Conduct accident reviews and determine appropriate follow-up actions.
Collaborate with departments to achieve operational goals.
Oversee inventory control and parts management.
Lead and coordinate special projects as assigned.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and sensitive operational data.
Ensure vehicles meet OEM specifications and regulatory standards.
Ensure reserve equipment is operational.
