About The Position

Alcoa ® Wheels is looking for a passionate Fleet Manager Italy (Center) who can increase the use of Alcoa Aluminum wheels in the Italian commercial vehicle market. The incumbent is primarily accountable to develop their fleets at all levels and to convince these contacts to purchase Alcoa ® wheel products. This is a homebased position covering the Center of Italy, with preferred home office locations in Rome, Florence, and Pescara. The majority of the working week will be spent visiting fleets, requiring regular travel and nights away from home.

Requirements

Bachelor degree or equivalent by experience.
Native Italian and fluent in spoken and written English.
Experience in field sales and selling high value products.
Motivated, passionate and result driven.
Reliable and an autonomous/self-starter.
Accountable and a solution provider.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of the commercial transportation business is an asset.
Experience of home working is desirable.

Responsibilities

Developing strategies and implementing action plans to increase the use of Alcoa ® aluminum wheels for Commercial Vehicle (Truck, Bus, Trailer) versus steel wheels by convincing transportation fleets.
Working with distributors to develop business opportunities.
Maintaining contacts with tyre suspension, axle and wheel attachment manufacturers and truck and trailer dealers.
Working in a truly multicultural team spread across Europe.
