About The Position

SRM Concrete is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Technician for an entry-level position designed as a pathway to becoming a skilled fleet mechanic. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for vehicles and a desire to learn and grow their skills. The technician will work on various fleet vehicles, performing essential maintenance and basic mechanical repairs, with opportunities for hands-on training and career advancement.

Requirements

• Strong interest in fleet maintenance, vehicle repair, or becoming a mechanic
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced fleet mechanics
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

• Basic knowledge of vehicle systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic mechanical repairs on company fleet vehicles
• Inspect and top off vehicle fluids (coolant, brake, transmission, etc.)
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report findings to senior mechanics or supervisors
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist with other entry-level fleet maintenance and repair tasks as needed
