OnTrac is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Technician II. This role is crucial for ensuring all fleet trailing equipment is inspected, maintained, and repaired in accordance with federal and state regulations and company standards, contributing to a safe working environment. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
2+ year of related experience and/or training in a mechanical setting, or an equivalent combination of education and specific work experience
Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including lifting/moving items up to 125 pounds and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Thorough knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Good problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Ability to maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate 24-hour operations.
Ability to fabricate and fix mechanical parts.
Knowledge of industrial conveyor controls and related I/Os.
Knowledge of LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out), PMs (Preventative Maintenance), and 3-phase electrical work.
Must have a good driving record and be able to pass an MVR.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a semi-trailer maintenance technician highly preferred

Responsibilities

Maintain and contribute to a safe work environment by adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Company Safety Program.
Maintain, and provide routine preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections to fleet trailing equipment.
Work with Safety department leadership to understand and ensure that all safety programs and procedures are followed.
May be required to use personal vehicle or Company vehicle to conduct business for the company.
Perform any other task or assignment as deemed necessary by the organization.
Perform housekeeping duties, including work area clean-up, conveyor and equipment clean-up, and other general housekeeping duties as assigned.
