This is a 1st shift position requiring a schedule of Monday-Friday 5AM-4PM onsite, and some Saturdays. The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor supervises and provides direct leadership for technicians, manages work flow and assigns tasks. This role oversees the day-to-day operations of employees in the maintenance shop, coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality. The supervisor reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work order documents. They also perform mechanical duties as needed, monitor inventory of replacement parts and restock as needed, and oversee personnel including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action as needed. Additionally, this role provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions, interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations, and creates and submits reports as necessary.
