About The Position

We are seeking a Fleet Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a fleet of vehicles to ensure safe, reliable operation. This hands-on role is ideal for a mechanically inclined professional who enjoys troubleshooting vehicle issues and is looking to expand their skills through paid CDL training. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and committed to keeping fleet vehicles operating at peak performance.

Requirements

Vocational or technical training in automotive repair, diesel technology, or a related field.
Experience performing basic vehicle maintenance and mechanical repairs.
Knowledge of brake systems, oil changes, tire service, and preventative maintenance.
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Nice To Haves

CDL certification is a plus but not required ; paid training will be provided after hire.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and routine inspections.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on fleet vehicles.
Conduct inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
Complete repairs efficiently to minimize vehicle downtime.
Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
Use diagnostic equipment and hand tools to troubleshoot vehicle systems.
Follow all safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Work independently to prioritize daily maintenance and repair activities.
Participate in paid CDL training after hire and maintain required certifications.
