About The Position
Passenger transportation company is seeking a Fleet Maintenance and Workshop Manager for a small-sized operation. This role involves managing and executing preventive and corrective maintenance of the bus fleet, primarily Volvo and Prevost units, to ensure safety, operational availability, and compliance with international standards.
Requirements
- Education: Mechanical, Automotive Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in bus or heavy vehicle maintenance.
- Knowledge: Diesel mechanics, electronic diagnostics, preventive maintenance.
- Technical Competencies: Diesel mechanics – High
- Technical Competencies: Electronic diagnostics – Medium/High
- Technical Competencies: Workshop management – High
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Supervise mechanical and technical work.
- Manage workshop, tools, and spare parts.
- Coordinate external suppliers and Volvo/Prevost dealers.
- Control maintenance costs and budget.
