SAIC is seeking a qualified Fleet intelligence planner and Opposition Force (OPFOR) developer to support Fleet training at Navy Warfare Development Center (NWDC) in Norfolk, VA. The individual in this position will provide subject matter expertise (SME), Fleet Intelligence, and OPFOR subject matter support to train Navy Fleet HQ staffs in Maritime Operations Centers (MOCs) for command and control (C2) of operations at the Operational Level of War (OLW). The ideal candidate must have naval operational experience and knowledge related to intelligence and realistic OPFOR presentations leveraging, but not limited to the following areas: Operations, Plans, Fires, Intelligence, Protection, Air and Missile Defense, Logistics, C2 Systems, Information Operations, Cyber Operations, Space Operations, Air Warfare, Surface Warfare and Anti-Submarine Warfare. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have experience developing, designing, and executing exercise events at the high-tactical or operational-level of warfare, including familiarity with joint and maritime HQ tasks simulating real-world operations. These tasks include, but are not limited to: exercise concept development, planning, scheduling, modeling, simulation architecture design, simulation management and operations, intelligence system integration, scenario development, database builds and tests, event response and control cells, assessment, as well as support to development of future maritime domains within the joint training environment.
