About The Position
Under regular supervision, configures new vehicles and equipment. Also, assists with tasks involving services, maintenance and repairs to County vehicles and other motorized equipment including, trailers, etc. ensuring proper working order. Performs preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment. This class receives direction and leadership from the Fleet Manager and Shop Foreman who coordinates, assigns, and monitors work assignments.
Requirements
- Two years of experience in automotive repair or new vehicle preparation.
- At least one year of experience in the service and installation of motorized equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Graduation from high school or GED is preferred.
