Fleet Driver/Transporter - FT
About The Position
The Fleet Driver/Transporter supports Avis Budget Group’s fleet operations by driving rental vehicles between rental locations, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots as directed by management. The role helps ensure vehicles are safely and efficiently positioned to support daily operations and customer demand. Drivers follow established safety procedures and driving standards while helping maintain vehicle availability. This is an on-site position in Jackson, Mississippi, and cannot be performed remotely. No prior experience is necessary; on-the-job training is provided.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license.
- Flexibility to work all shifts.
- Must be able to frequently enter and exit vehicles, sit for extended periods, get up and down from a seated position, and drive a variety of vehicles in all weather conditions.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Regular on-site presence is required; the position cannot be performed remotely.
Responsibilities
- Drive rental vehicles between rental locations, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots as directed by management.
- Transport vehicles safely and efficiently to ensure the fleet is positioned to support daily operations and customer demand.
- Follow established safety procedures and driving standards.
