Provide drivers with necessary support during evening and/or weekend hours so that drivers can deliver loads safely and on time. This role involves answering incoming phone calls, live chats, and emails to assist drivers with various issues including delays, service problems, trailers, and payroll. The dispatcher will fuel and route drivers while promoting safety, dispatch necessary resources, and resolve driver issues using critical thinking skills. They will monitor loads, proactively inform customers of changes, resolve load targets, and ensure on-time delivery. Effective and professional communication with customers, operations drivers, and leadership is essential. The role also includes responding to drivers' and other terminal needs, assisting with emergency situations, understanding and supporting company policies, and ensuring drivers remain productive by managing accurate PTAs, trailer solutions, BPMs, appointments, CDL status, and home time guidelines. The goal is to keep drivers rolling safely and earning.
