About The Position

We are actively seeking an experienced Sales Professional in our Commercial & Fleet Department at Don Hewlett Chevrolet Buick. Your knowledge, leadership, and excellent customer relations will contribute to the strength of the brand and our dealerships and the confidence and loyalty of our customers. This is a 100% commissioned position. Evening and weekend hours may be required. This is a hybrid position in which there will be some in office hours required, however you will be required to work outside the dealership to meet and engage clients.

Requirements

• Experience in commercial/fleet operations with clientele or B2B sales (1-2 years)
• Highly motivated, detail oriented self-started, leader, and team player
• Commitment to customer service
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Enthusiastic individual with an eagerness to grow
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
• Proven success in B2B or B2C sales
• High school diploma or GED
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge on all vehicles available for the Fleet or Commercial Buyer.
• Maintain awareness of the vehicles currently in inventory as well as inventory and products available from suppliers to present appropriate options to clients
• Hunt for new business through assigned leads and by generating your own leads. We require a minimum of 30 new customer contacts per month.
• Assess the automobile needs and desires of the commercial opportunity, offer a free fleet analysis and present an appropriate cycling program to meet the client’s goals.
• Establish relationships with fleet clients in person, by phone, and electronically
• Solicit and negotiate fleet sales with leasing companies, management companies, and local/state government agencies
• Support commercial programs including Business Lines of Credit, Fleet Sales, Small Business Sales Centralized Billing Program, Fleet maintenance, Fuel Programs and Telematics Offerings
• Facilitate the introduction of the Accessories Department for selection of accessories and upfits appropriate to the client’s vocation.
• Responsible for aligning sell strategies with Commercial Sales Managers
• Manage balancing profits and volume of units sold
• Follow-up with clients to ensure satisfaction and to build long-term relationships, repeat business, and referrals
