About The Position

Dueck on Marine is seeking a motivated and relationship-focused Automotive Fleet & Commercial Account Manager to join our team. This role blends business development with account management, focusing on growing our fleet and commercial sales while maintaining strong, long-term client partnerships. The ideal candidate is driven, customer-oriented, and skilled at building trust and rapport. You will develop new opportunities, manage key accounts, and ensure our clients receive the highest level of service and support.

Requirements

  • Proven success in sales, business development, or account management (automotive sales or B2B sales experience is a must).
  • BC class 5 Driver Licence and Vehicle Sales Authority (VSA) Licence.
  • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to balance new business development with ongoing account support.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, customer-first mindset.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop, and secure new fleet and commercial accounts.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are consistently met.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for fleet customers, providing personalized service and timely solutions.
  • Present and promote fleet and commercial programs, tenders, and vehicle solutions to businesses.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle — from identifying opportunities and negotiating agreements to closing deals and overseeing after-sales support.
  • Leverage CRM tools, networking, and industry events to expand market presence.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, service, finance, and operations) to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and develop strategies to maximize them.
