Essential Duties: Inspect vehicles to assess damage and determine appropriate body and paint work needed Perform auto body work, including dent removal, panel replacement, and frame alignment as necessary Prepare vehicle surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming Mix and apply paint using proper refinishing techniques to ensure accurate color matching and high-quality finishes Operate spray equipment and utilize paint booths in accordance with safety standards Buff, polish, and finish painted surfaces to meet company quality expectations Repair or replace damaged components, including panels, bumpers, and trim Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used Ensure all work complies with company policies, safety procedures, and environmental regulations Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition Collaborate with fleet maintenance and operations teams to minimize vehicle downtime Minimum Qualifications: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in auto body and paint/refinishing work Strong knowledge of body work techniques, paint systems, and refinishing processes Experience using spray guns, sanding equipment, and paint mixing systems Ability to read and interpret work instructions and technical documentation Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively Preferred Qualifications: ASE Collision Repair & Refinish Certification (B2–B5) I-CAR training or certification Experience working with fleet or emergency vehicles Skills and Abilities: Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills High level of attention to detail and precision Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Effective time management and organizational skills Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Commitment to safety and compliance with all regulations Ability to adapt to changing priorities and workloads Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds or more as needed Ability to perform repetitive motions, including sanding, grinding, and painting Ability to work in environments with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement: Pafford Emergency Medical Services / ProMedics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
