About The Position

Maintains accurate data related to acquisition, maintenance, asset records, inspections, and operating results of the Prineville Complex material handling assets; including, but not limited to: tractors, trailers, dollies, chassis, forklifts, container movers and company passenger vehicles. Reconciles and reports data, and provides administrative support to the department.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Must have valid drivers license
  • Excellent computer skills; proficient with office tools and especially maintaining databases, creating reports, pivot tables, charts, etc.
  • Communication: The ability to communicate information clearly and politely (both verbally and in writing) while ensuring that the quality and content of the message are relevant to the circumstances. This includes the ability to draft, proofread, and send written communications effectively. This also includes the ability and willingness to carefully listen to others by asking appropriate questions and avoiding interruptions

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, maintain, reconcile and report data on fleet assets, including but not limited to: Preventative maintenance and repair work orders on transportation and distribution assets and company fleet of passenger vehicles
  • Record and process supplier, dealer, and manufacturer’s warranty claims
  • Help to ensure that new fleet assets are recorded properly when acquired and/or when taken out of service
  • Drive consistently formatted, accurate reporting and communication to all departments
  • Reconcile operations reports, support ad-hoc inquiries for analysis
  • Run reports on fleet assets on a regular, scheduled basis
  • Provide reports on fleet related operational, financial, and regulatory data utilizing both internal and third party source information
  • Assist with the development of fleet related presentations, budgets and forecasts; including maintenance, repair, fuel, asset utilization, and shop labor/efficiencies
  • Process timecards for various Transport personnel
  • Other duties as assigned (i.e. provide back-up support to Parts Room Assistant as needed)
