About The Position

EquipmentShare is seeking an Intern-Fleet Allocation Specialist for its Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO. This role is an opportunity to grow with the company and contribute to transforming the construction industry through innovative technology and real-time support. The intern will be responsible for daily follow-up with local branches and manufacturers to ensure attachments are received and serialized, collaborating with Regional Fleet Managers and local branches to maintain inventory levels with key assets, and vetting new opportunities. Additionally, the intern will develop relationships with existing and new manufacturers.

Requirements

• Strong drive
• Can make intelligent decisions
• Familiarity with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel
• Currently in a college program

• Interest in data analytics and how data helps to drive good business decisions
• Construction industry knowledge
• Agricultural experience
• Prior internship experience

Responsibilities

• Allocate equipment off open orders to branch locations to support organic growth and new branch openings.
• Interact with suppliers to coordinate logistics for shipments and ensure order accuracy.
• Promptly respond to local and regional requests for new fleet.
