About The Position
Cutting Edge Countertops is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Flatbed Truck Driver to join our growing team. This role is responsible for transporting countertops, slabs, and materials between our showroom and branch locations throughout Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. If you take pride in safe driving, reliable service, and being part of a hardworking team, we’d love to hear from you.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- 1+ years of driving, delivery, or flatbed experience preferred
- CDL Class A preferred (higher pay available for qualified drivers)
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass background check and drug screening, and DOT physical
Nice To Haves
- Forklift or boom experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Safely transport granite, quartz, and solid surface countertops using flatbed trucks
- Deliver materials, sinks, samples, and transfer boxes to company locations
- Load, unload, and secure materials following DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain delivery paperwork and vehicle records
- Communicate with warehouse leadership regarding schedules and delivery updates
- Keep vehicles clean, organized, and properly maintained
- Assist with warehouse and material handling tasks as needed
