About The Position
This role involves both driving a flatbed delivery truck to customers and performing order picking and stocking duties in a warehouse environment. The company is a Steel & Metal Service Center.
Requirements
- Valid Drivers License
- Heavy Lifting (50-75Ibs)
Nice To Haves
- Flatbed Truck driving experience
- Some knowledge of steel and metal products
- Forklift operation experience
- Overhead Crane operation experience
- Medical Card for commercial drivers
Responsibilities
- Driving delivery truck to our customers
- Load truck for deliveries
- Check that everything is on truck for customer orders
- Check truck for any issues before leaving the yard
- Pick orders and load customers
- Stock steel and metal items
- Cut and package customer orders for later pick up
- Clean up areas as needed
