About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dependable Flatbed Class A CDL Driver with a minimum of 3 -5 years of verifiable experience. This position requires precision, professionalism, and flexibility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in delivering to construction sites and transporting heavy equipment, with a proven ability to safely secure loads and maneuver in tight spaces. This position has been identified as “safety sensitive” by thyssenkrupp under applicable laws. Accordingly, any application for this position that is considered for employment with thyssenkrupp requires successful completion of pre-employment drug testing, which may include testing for marijuana in accordance with any applicable federal, state, and local laws.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or GED
Applicable motor vehicle licensing (i.e. CDL class A and/or B or class 1 or class 3 in Canada)
Ability to lift up to 70 pounds on a continuous basis
Safety Mindset
3-5 years of verifiable experience
Proven ability to safely secure loads and maneuver in tight spaces.

Nice To Haves

Strong background in delivering to construction sites and transporting heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate flatbed trucks to deliver heavy equipment and materials to construction sites.
Operate Manitou or Moffett truck-mounted forklifts for loading/unloading.
Use forklifts to assist with material handling as needed.
Willing to deliver to MD, VA, Eastern PA, Delaware, South Jersey, North of Richmond VA.
Safely secure loads using appropriate tie-down methods.
Navigate and back into tight delivery areas with precision.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and site personnel.
Ensure ontime delivery to customer.
