About The Position

LST Group is seeking a Flatbed Freight Team Lead. This role is ideal for someone who is the primary contact for flatbed loads at their current company. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of logistics experience and is proficient in handling flatbed freight.

Requirements

• 5+ years of logistics experience.
• Ability to identify double brokers/shady carriers.
• Proficiency in spot quoting flatbed shipments.
• Established carrier relationships for truck-in-hand pricing, including for superloads.
• Excellent understanding of dimensions/equipment specifications.
• Comfortable providing rates to customers.
• Ability to answer customer emails regarding scheduling and ETAs.
• Willingness to work with the flatbed carrier sales/operations team.

Responsibilities

• Identify and avoid double brokers and shady carriers.
• Provide spot quotes for flatbed shipments and leverage carrier relationships for real-time pricing, including for superloads.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of dimensions and equipment specifications.
• Communicate rates to customers and respond to customer inquiries regarding scheduling and estimated times of arrival (ETAs).
• Collaborate effectively with the flatbed carrier sales and operations team.
• Work in a respectful and dignified environment with coworkers.
