About The Position
We are one of the largest Automotive groups in the Midwest with the newest Buick GMC dealer in Columbus, Ohio. We are in need of experienced Service Technicians to handle the large volume increase since opening in July of 2020. We boast one of the strongest veteran Advisor staff in the city with outstanding customer pay selling production. We have available work stations with bright LED lighting and computer access, offering competitive wages, paid manufacturer training, and complete benefit packages. Requirements
- GM experience required.
- ASE Certifications are ideal.
- Strong automotive background
- Strong Teamwork
- Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with the dealership.
- Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical and electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with Service Advisors so that customers can be informed if any additional services are needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for any repair or additional repairs.
- Executing repairs under warranty as outlined in manufacturers specifications.
