About The Position

This position involves operating a flat laser machine, performing setups, calibrating equipment, and ensuring high-quality output. The role requires loading and unloading materials, packaging finished goods, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The operator will also be responsible for following safety procedures and reporting any incidents.

Requirements

Able to read and comprehend work orders, instructions, and safety and procedural manuals.
Ability to understand written and verbal communication in the English language.
Ability to use and interpret tape measurer and other measuring instruments as required.
Ability to drive a forklift and operate an overhead crane (company will train and certify).

Responsibilities

Perform machine setup and calibrate equipment to meet customer specifications.
Load and unload material into and out of machines, including adjusting material as needed.
Perform in-process inspection of materials and maintain high quality output standards.
Package finished goods for customer delivery or floor stock, including palletizing and banding when requested.
Maintain a clean work site and follow proper housekeeping practices.
Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
Report all accidents, incidents and unsafe acts or conditions immediately.
