About The Position
Speedy Glass is looking for people who are interested in starting a career in the residential glass industry as a Flat Glass Technician Trainee. As a corporate entity with 30+ stores in 6 states, we have opportunities for people with all levels of experience from those who have just started their career in glass to seasoned leaders. We are currently hiring for a Flat Glass Technician Trainee at our Las Cruces location. Our Flat Glass Technician Trainee opportunities come with a starting salary of $15 - $18 an hour. And our industry-leading training programs will help you develop valuable skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- State issued Driver’s license and clean driving record
- Physical Requirements: lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds, standing, bending, long periods of time on your feet
Responsibilities
- Learn to repair and replace residential glass using Speedy Glass safety practices
- Assist with residential glass installation and repair, including insulated glass replacement, single pane glass, patio doors, mirrors, shower doors, vinyl & wood replacement windows, skylights, table-tops, railings & screens
- Ensure equipment, materials and areas of operation comply with all regulations and requirements
- Provide exceptional customer service to every guest, every time
- Perform all other duties as assigned
