About The Position

This position is primarily responsible for monitoring indicating devices that reflect system operation, and manipulates controls necessary to start, operate, or shut equipment. Employees normally work near high-temperature, high-pressure, and energized equipment.

Basic computer knowledge and proficiency and/or a demonstrated technical aptitude to learn; Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.
Demonstration of basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units to measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals); ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent preferred.

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage and perform preventive maintenance, electrical repairs, millwright work, and MSHA safety functions.
Prepare asphalt mixtures per customer requirements, load and unload tankers and monitor tanks and assist with paperwork.
Ensure that lock-out and tag-out procedures are performed safely and in compliance with APS guidelines.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
