About The Position

PRIME Traffic Control is a growing company looking for a dependable employee who desires a company home that offers growth and security. This role involves flagging traffic and supporting Advanced MOT Foremen in setting up signage, cones, barrels, arrow boards, and message boards. The company was established in Winter Garden, FL, with the original purpose of supporting the Electrical Power Industry. Our work includes setting up safe work zones to control vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

Requirements

  • Must have valid Florida driver's license.
  • Candidates must have a clean driving record.
  • Must have reliable mode of transportation.
  • Must be willing and able to stand outside for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to pick up close to 50 pounds safely.
  • If interested, employees may be asked to travel for overnight stays within the State of Florida.
  • Work to keep and maintain a good attitude of learning the work and supporting the team.
  • Must be willing to submit and pass drug/alcohol testing/screenings.
  • Must not have any felony convictions in the last 5 years.
  • Must be willing and able to absorb and understand safety training and subsequent standards and follow them.

Nice To Haves

  • FDOT Certified Flagging Certification a plus.
  • If no certification, employee would be expected to complete a 4-hour training course prior to starting work.

Responsibilities

  • Flagging traffic.
  • Support Advanced MOT Foreman setting up signage, cones, barrels, arrow boards, message boards, etc.
  • Drive company truck to support Advanced MOT Foreman setting up signage, cones, barrels, arrow boards, message boards, etc.
