About The Position
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Flag Football Instructor to lead our youth program. This role involves teaching fundamental flag football skills to children aged 6-13 years old. The instructor will be responsible for creating a fun and engaging learning environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants, and fostering a positive sportsmanship experience. This is a part-time position with classes held on Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Requirements
- Experience working with children aged 6-13.
- Knowledge of flag football rules and techniques.
- Ability to create and lead engaging activities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Must be able to work on Wednesdays from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Nice To Haves
- Previous coaching or instructing experience in flag football or a similar sport.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Experience with curriculum development for youth programs.
Responsibilities
- Instructing youth aged 6-13 years old in flag football skills.
- Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans.
- Ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants.
- Promoting good sportsmanship and teamwork.
- Managing class time effectively to cover all objectives.
- Communicating with program coordinators regarding class progress and any issues.
