About The Position

rabbittransit is seeking a Fixed Route Driver to join their team. This part-time, evening position operates year-round in Gettysburg, PA. The driver will be responsible for safely and courteously transporting passengers along predetermined routes. This role is crucial in fulfilling rabbittransit's mission of providing essential transportation services to the community, connecting people to places they might not otherwise be able to reach. The position involves completing inspections, maintaining records, assisting passengers with mobility devices, handling fares, using radio communications, and following emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely and courteously transport passengers along predetermined routes.
• Complete vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate records.
• Assist passengers with wheelchairs and other mobility devices.
• Receive and account for fares.
• Use radio communications.
• Follow emergency procedures.
• Complete other activities assigned by the Operations Supervisor/ Site Manager.
