About The Position

TDXi, a subsidiary of Tanadgusix Corporation (TDX), an Alaska Native Corporation, is currently recruiting for the position of Fixed & Mobile Threat System Electronic Technician. This position is located at Eielson AFB, AK, and is a Full Time position. This position will report to the Program Manager. TDXi's TDX Government Services (TDX-GS) is an innovative defense contractor that performs a variety of services for our military and private defense contractors. We currently provide technical expertise and training support to enhance Air Combat Training System (ACTS) services across the globe and perform Range Management responsibilities at multiple locations around the world. At TDX-GS, we take pride in partnering with our customers, the world’s finest warfighters, to deliver high quality operations and maintenance to ensure every minute and dollar spent enhances national defense. TDXi has a need for several Fixed & Mobile Threat System Electronic Technicians. This position, located at Eielson AFB, Alaska, provides technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment; and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. Threat systems include: Lazarus, replica FSU, UMTE, Smokey SAM, ARTS, etc.

Requirements

  • Degree in technical discipline or equivalent military training, or minimum ten (10) years’ experience at journeyman level
  • US Citizen // Top Secret Clearance or ability to obtain is required
  • Applicants must have a valid state driver’s license
  • Ability to read, analyze, and apply knowledge of both electrical and mechanical schematics
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate basic and some advanced technical knowledge of electrical and electronic principles and devices, interpret circuit diagrams to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents, as well as demonstrate knowledge in the use of test instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, voltage and frequency meters, and computer control equipment and analyzers.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiar with RF Measurements - Small signal and high-power gain, Noise Figure, S-Parameters and digital measurements (oscilloscope, DVM)
  • IAT II (A+ software/hardware and Security +) Certification desired
  • Holds recognized Electronics and electrical Qualification.
  • Proven track record of successful threat systems maintenance
  • Proven practical and pragmatic understanding of service delivery

Responsibilities

  • Preventative maintenance on the threat systems
  • Corrective maintenance on the threat systems
  • Responsible for quality compliance, safety, continuous improvement and confirm any other contractual obligations are met with regards to the threat systems
  • Maintain and review technical manuals
  • Maintain and manage all tools and test equipment
  • Responsible to manage Spare equipment list and work with logistics manager
  • Requirement to travel to remote locations with occasional overnights
  • Ensure compliance with TDXi’s Quality Control and Safety Programs
  • Other duties as assigned by the Program manager
