About The Position

This role supports fixed income client onboarding and ongoing account maintenance, coordinating closely with sales, trading, compliance, legal, and operations teams. The position serves as a key point of contact for client trade inquiries, assisting with trade confirmations, allocations, settlement, and TRACE reporting while resolving discrepancies and settlement issues. The role also supports transaction lifecycle management, DK resolution, and related projects to ensure accurate records and smooth trade execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bloomberg experience a plus
  • Eagerness to learn and develop within a dynamic financial services environment
  • Willingness to pass SIE, Series 7 and 63 within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the new client account onboarding process from start to finish.
  • Collect, review and submit all required documentation for account creation, approval and accurate complete records.
  • Partner with sales, trading, compliance, legal and operations teams to coordinate onboarding.
  • Serve as a point of contact for client inquiries and requests related to fixed income trades and sales.
  • Assist with confirming and allocating transactions.
  • Ensure smooth settlement of trades—resolving issues/confirming/allocating
  • Monitor trade workflows and identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues that may arise during the trade lifecycle.
  • Work closely with middle office and operations departments.
  • TRACE reporting—resolve trade issues to correctly report on TRACE.
  • Assist operations with DK’s and resolve trade settlement issues and problems.
  • Support additional projects or tasks related to client maintenance and trade documentation as needed.
