About The Position

The Fixed Income Operations Advisor provides broad operational support within Raymond James & Associates Fixed Income Capital Markets. The role works closely with Fixed Income Sales Representatives, Sales Assistants, internal business partners, and support teams to coordinate client and account needs, reporting, daily operational activities, and special projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential.

Requirements

• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, organization, and time management, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively with Sales Representatives, Sales Assistants, management, and internal business partners.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, and SharePoint.
• Experience with or ability to learn Bloomberg and other Fixed Income systems.
• Ability to review detailed information, identify discrepancies, and follow established processes accurately.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment where priorities and business needs may change quickly.
• Interest in learning new processes, systems, and functions across the Fixed Income group.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in financial services, securities operations, client service, or Fixed Income is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day Fixed Income operational activities, including client setup, account maintenance, reporting, and special projects.
• Assist with client onboarding and account maintenance, including reviewing required information and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Communicate status updates, outstanding items, and operational needs to Sales Representatives, Sales Assistants, and internal business partners.
• Prepare and maintain weekly and monthly reports, spreadsheets, trackers, and operational summaries.
• Review client and account information in support of first-line audit and supervisory review requirements.
• Provide support for client due diligence, operational, financial, and regulatory information requests, including coordinating appropriate documentation and responses.
• Use Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Bloomberg, and other Fixed Income systems to support reporting, research, recordkeeping, and daily workflows.
• Identify discrepancies, research operational issues, and coordinate timely resolution with the appropriate business partners.
• Participate in cross-training and learning opportunities within the group to expand knowledge of Fixed Income processes, systems, and team functions.
• Support process improvements and other Fixed Income operational initiatives as needed.
• Support and provide backup coverage for other team members as needed to help ensure continuity of operations.
