About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fixed Asset & Project Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team. This role is responsible for managing fixed asset accounting and project-related financial activities in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal bank policies. Primary responsibilities include Manage fixed asset lifecycle including additions, disposals, and depreciation. Perform general ledger account reconciliations. Create and manage assets for various project categories including ATM, Software (SW), Real Estate (RE), and Other. Update project statuses and perform asset retirements. Reconcile depreciation and prepare rollforward schedules. Record gain/loss entries on asset disposals. Reconcile mass additions and post them monthly. Prepare monthly retirement summaries and NBV (Net Book Value) reports. Reconcile NBV for both financial and tax books. Run and update automated interface job reports. Generate RE additions reports and perform project status sweeps.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting (fixed asset or project accounting preferred)
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in banking or financial services industry
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and asset management principles
  • Familiarity with Oracle or similar systems
  • Associate’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
