The Fixed Asset Accountant will serve as the Judicial Branch property officer and professional accounting authority for fixed assets and real property. Maintains and reconciles fixed asset records within the asset management system and eMARS; prepares fixed asset schedules for the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report; supports audits; and assists in the development of internal controls, policies, and procedures that promote property accountability and accurate reporting. Administers assigned fleet-tax and state risk or insurance functions and coordinates with the Facilities Support Services staff responsible for tagging, physical inventory, and surplus.
