Fitting Specialist - Golf (Contractor) - New York City/Long Island
About The Position
This role supports the COBRA PUMA GOLF brand, specifically in the NYC/Long Island Area. The Fitting Specialist is responsible for setting up and conducting fitting days in the field for their respective territory. Duties include maintaining fitting tools, setting up the fitting day, organizing orders from the fitting day to be placed by the account or local Territory Sales Manager, keeping accurate fitting records, and being the point of contact for brand requests pertaining to fitting days and follow-up. This will involve one-on-one fittings with consumers, participating in large-scale brand events, Staff and VIP golf club fittings, and working with the local Territory Sales Manager to maintain outstanding relationships with accounts. Requirements
- High school diploma
- Experience with launch monitors (Trackman, Foresight, or FlightScope)
- Experience with golf club fitting
- Understanding basic and intermediate fitting terminology
- Knowledge of golf ball flight data characteristics (speed, launch, spin)
- High level of energy, initiative and professionalism
- Ability to set up and break down a fitting day
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to conduct 40-50 events in a calendar year
- Ability to be flexible to business needs and willingness to work weekends
