About The Position

This role involves assembling the main frame of products using blueprints and a mig welding machine. The fitter will tack all necessary parts for beam manufacturing and utilize cranes to move beams between areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 - 2 years of steel beam assembly in a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of shop math, blue print reading, welding symbols, beam assembly, general welding knowledge and general shop practice.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Focused and accurately understand quality assurance requirements and the impact on welding processes.

Responsibilities

• Fully assemble the main frame using blueprints and mig welding machine.
• Tack all the parts required to manufacture the beam.
• Use cranes to move beams from Kentex area to fitting station.
