We are looking for a focused, passionate Fitter Welder to join our team! This role will be highly flexible and focused on supporting the welding/fabrication department in a job shop environment. Ideal candidates will enjoy MIG welding and light fit up work and opportunities to support new projects in a team atmosphere. Requirements

Proficient in MIG welding processes on a variety of materials
2 more years experience fitting up jobs from an open table independently
Proficient reading blueprints, interpreting weld symbols
Be willing to regularly flex into MIG production jobs based on customer needs
Be detail orientated, with a quality mindset
Reliable, honest, with a strong work ethic
Be able to stand for up to 8-10 hours per day with minimal break periods
Be able to regularly lift raw material, work pieces, & finished weldments up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

MIG welding/fit up on routine or new weldments
Reading/interpret blueprints as needed to part features, dimensions, & tolerances
Completing all inspection and quality processes as required per weldment/job
Troubleshooting or making adjustments as needed per job
Maintaining production and fit up rate/speed consistently across jobs or parts
Performing routine daily cell & machine maintenance
