About The Position
Rockland Manufacturing is seeking a Fitter Fabricator to join their team on the second shift. This role involves building custom attachments for heavy equipment such as loaders, dozers, and excavators. The second shift operates Monday through Thursday from 3:35 pm to 2:05 am, with potential overtime on Fridays. The company emphasizes quality and offers training for those who may need it, with a clear path for wage increases based on performance.
Requirements
- Experience is preferred but we will provide ample training; if needed
Responsibilities
- Working from blueprints to assemble buckets, forks, rakes, grapples and blades
- Using cranes/other positioning devices during assembly
- Laying out, aligning and fitting together fabricated and machined parts
- Tack welding components
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
