  • Expertise across multiple fitness and wellness disciplines with the confidence to create engaging experiences for individuals and groups alike.
  • The ability to personalize every session by adapting instruction to varying abilities, goals, and comfort levels.
  • Exceptional communication skills paired with an encouraging coaching style that builds trust, motivation, and lasting guest relationships.
  • Professionalism, creativity, and sound judgment that allow you to deliver luxury-level service while maintaining the highest standards of safety.
  • Curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning, bringing new ideas, emerging wellness trends, and innovative programming to the resort.
  • A collaborative mindset and polished presence that elevate both the guest experience and the Wellness Team.
  • Nationally recognized Personal Training certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent)
  • Current yoga instructor certification, 200-hour training preferred
  • Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
  • Experience providing personal training and leading group fitness or yoga classes
  • Ability to teach multiple fitness and wellness modalities
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, movement mechanics, exercise physiology, and safe exercise modification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

  • Luxury hospitality, destination spa, private club, or wellness resort experience preferred.
  • Luxury resort, spa, private club, or wellness center experience preferred
  • Additional certifications such as Pilates, barre, meditation, breathwork, corrective exercise, mobility, senior fitness, aquatic fitness, indoor cycling, or nutrition coaching preferred

  • Dynamic wellness programming by leading yoga, strength training, functional fitness, mobility, recovery, meditation, breathwork, outdoor experiences, and seasonal classes that encourage guests to explore new possibilities.
  • Inclusive experiences where every participant feels welcomed and successful by thoughtfully adapting instruction for varying ages, fitness levels, and physical abilities.
  • Greater confidence in lifelong wellness by educating guests on proper exercise technique, recovery strategies, injury prevention, and sustainable healthy living practices.
  • Innovative wellness offerings by contributing fresh programming ideas, supporting retreats and signature events, and incorporating emerging fitness and wellness trends into the guest experience.
  • Meaningful guest relationships that inspire return visits through genuine connection, personalized recommendations, and thoughtful guidance toward additional spa and wellness experiences.
  • A polished and welcoming fitness environment by maintaining immaculate studios, inspecting equipment, following safety standards, collaborating across departments, and supporting the daily success of the wellness operation.
