About The Position

Brooksby Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Personal & Group Fitness Trainer for Senior Living. This is a Full-Time position. Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year related work experience
  • Current CPR/First Aid certifications.
  • Please note that specific state regulations and requirements may be applicable. These regulations take precedence over the requirements outlined in the job description.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in evaluating fitness programs for seniors is a plus.
  • Personal Training Experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive fitness assessments to evaluate residents’ current health and functional abilities.
  • Design and implement individualized exercise programs incorporating flexibility, strength training, and cardiovascular conditioning.
  • Instruct and educate members on proper exercise techniques to ensure safety and maximize results.
  • Support the coordination and delivery of community-wide wellness programs and initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe fitness environment for all residents.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents and staff, motivating and encouraging active lifestyles.
  • Assist in the daily operations of the Aquatic Center, including performing required water testing and safety checks.
  • Lead engaging group exercise classes tailored to varying ability levels.
  • Provide specialized training for clients with diverse medical conditions and cognitive impairments.
