About The Position
Havenwood of Burnsville is seeking a Fitness Manager to lead their innovative fitness center. They are a senior living community with 135 apartments, offering independent living, assisted living, and memory care services. The role involves promoting health and wellness for residents.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Experience in fitness management and/or personal training.
- Maintain high levels of professionalism, both in conduct and appearance, at all times.
- Pay attention to details.

- Associate’s degree preferred
- Enthusiastic, compassionate, senior care professional who is passionate about hospitality and senior engagement.
Responsibilities
- Promote a healthy community culture for all residents and employees.
- Oversee operations of the fitness center and programming.
- Orient and train residents and staff on the use of the fitness center equipment.
- Provide individual and group educational opportunities for residents and staff.
- Actively recruit new fitness memberships both internally and externally.
- Lead daily resident classes and trainings.
- Perform assessments and create wellness programming.
- Assist with preparing and distributing monthly calendars.
- Plan and execute diverse and engaging programs to meet the needs of our diverse resident population.
