About The Position
The City of O'Fallon is seeking an energetic and dependable team member for the position of Fitness Instructor to lead classes at the Renaud Center. This part-time opportunity involves teaching fitness classes, providing customer service, and maintaining equipment. The role is part of the Recreation Department and plays an important role in providing fitness instruction to groups and individuals. Instructors typically teach a few classes each week and assist with substitute teaching when needed.
Requirements
- Certified in Silver Sneaker fitness programming
- Comfortable leading a group and teaching individuals
- Know first aid and CPR
- Have specialized certification training from a nationally recognized organization, such as ACE or AFAA
