About The Position

The City of Mission Recreation Department is seeking qualified and enthusiastic fitness instructors to teach a variety of land fitness classes. The successful candidates will be responsible for creating a safe and supportive environment by demonstrating proper form, techniques, and modifications while providing clear and precise instruction. Applicants must be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Recognized fitness certification (e.g., Group Fitness Instructor registration with BCRPA or CFES, or an equivalent combination of training and experience)
• Current Standard First Aid certification
• CPR-C certification
• AED certification
