About The Position

The City of O'Fallon is seeking an energetic and dependable team member for the position of Fitness Instructor to lead classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings at the Renaud Center. This is a part-time opportunity where you can use your fitness know-how and skills in decision making, problem solving and dealing with the public. As part of the Recreation Department, this position plays an important role in providing fitness instruction to groups and individuals. Generally, you'll teach a few classes each week, including helping out when a substitute teacher is needed.

Requirements

• Know first aid and CPR
• Have specialized certification training from a nationally recognized organization, such as ACE or AFAA

Responsibilities

• Providing instruction in a variety of fitness classes and top notice customer service to patrons
