About The Position

STRONG is a fitness studio offering Pilates-inspired, cardio-infused, low-impact, and high-intensity workouts. Our diverse classes, including ROW, RIDE, and REFORM, are designed to help clients maximize their performance and achieve their fitness goals.

  • 6+ months of group fitness teaching experience
  • Reliable means of mobility for travel to studio location
  • CPR and AED certification obtained through in-person training is required

Nice To Haves

  • STRONG Academy certification (Provided by STRONG)
  • Certified Personal Trainer or Pilates certification from a recognized organization

Responsibilities

  • Deliver STRONG Pilates classes based on a set schedule.
  • Provide clients with personal attention during class, ensuring clear and precise cueing, and verifying correct form.
  • Be aware of client injuries to modify exercises as needed.
  • Inspire and promote an energetic environment.
  • Balance teaching, managing lights and music, and adhering to timing and programming.
  • Ensure each client is introduced to the Rowformer and Bikeformer prior to class.
  • Represent the STRONG studio at all times.
  • Welcome clients by name.
  • Identify first-time clients and celebrate milestones.
  • Maintain an enthusiastic and supportive attitude towards clients.
  • Develop STRONG relationships with clients.
  • Continue to build the community culture of STRONG.
  • Assist in the sale of memberships, merchandise, and other offerings.
  • Maintain the upkeep of the studio between classes, including cleaning equipment, reformer maintenance, and restrooms.
  • Assist with washing, soaking, and rolling eucalyptus towels when requested.
  • Take pride in the studio as if it were your own.
  • Handle client interactions via walk-ins, phone, and email.
  • Assist in generating and converting membership sales.
