Fitness Instructor, Kindred
About The Position
We’re looking for a kindred spirit to join the team at Kindred Resort, a new elevated luxury property located at the base of Keystone Resort in Colorado. Kindred Resort is a visionary development with a mission to be the most welcoming luxury hospitality experience through extreme kindness and active excellence. Embedded in the resort experience is a passion for the outdoors and creating connection between guests, employees, and community. Our goal is to spark elevated experiences that welcome all kindred spirits. We are seeking passionate, engaging, and experienced Fitness & Wellness Instructors to deliver elevated movement and wellness experience across a variety of disciplines including: Yoga Zumba Tai Chi PiYo P90X Guided Meditation Singing Bowls & Sound Healing Breathwork Stretch & Mobility Barre Dance Fitness Recovery & Regeneration Classes Outdoor Mountain Fitness Experiences Specialty Wellness Workshops This role is ideal for instructors who are passionate about wellness, hospitality, movement, mindfulness, and creating memorable guest experiences that blend luxury, nature, recovery, and adventure.
Requirements
- Current certification or documented experience within instructor’s specific discipline preferred
- CPR/AED certification preferred
- Previous experience teaching group fitness, wellness, or movement classes preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable teaching in both indoor and outdoor mountain environments
- Passion for wellness, hospitality, and guest engagement
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and peak resort seasons
- At least 18 years of age
Responsibilities
- Lead safe, engaging, and professional wellness and movement classes for resort guests, owners, members, and local participants
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences aligned with Kindred Resort’s luxury hospitality standards
- Adapt classes to varying fitness levels, ages, and guest abilities
- Create welcoming, inclusive, and motivating environments
- Maintain professionalism, energy, and strong guest interaction throughout each class
- Support the development of innovative wellness and fitness offerings across Kindred Resort, Studio K, and Keystone Mountain
- Participate in seasonal wellness activations, retreats, group events, and special programming
- Incorporate mountain lifestyle, mindfulness, recovery, and nature-inspired elements into classes when appropriate
- Assist in building signature Kindred wellness experiences
- Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled classes and events
- Ensure class spaces are clean, organized, and guest-ready
- Coordinate with wellness leadership regarding attendance, guest feedback, and scheduling needs
- Promote a collaborative and positive wellness team culture
- Other duties as assigned
