About The Position

Provides instruction in fitness and/or education classes to all age levels from pediatric to geriatric. Individual presents health education information and aids in development of new fitness and wellness related programs.

Requirements

• Graduate of 4 year degree in Exercise Science or related field Required
• Have a current certification from a National Accredited Instructor certification Required
• CPR - Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation Required

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of instructional experience in a wellness setting
• ACSM - Clinical Exercise Specialist Preferred
• ALSM Preferred
• AFAA - Athletics and Fitness Association of America Preferred
• ACE - American Council on Exercise Preferred
• NDEITA - National Dance-Exercise Instructors Training Association Preferred
• Institutes for Aerobics Research Preferred
