Requirements

Minimum one year of experience in a guest service related job.
CPR certification.
Basic first aid knowledge.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to motivate and work with a diverse group of people.
Professionalism.
Outgoing personality.
Ability to represent Canyon Ranch at a public level.
Guest-service orientation.
Ability to work effectively under pressure.

Nice To Haves

Fitness background, which includes work-related experience or education/training in exercise physiology, health, etc.

Responsibilities

Greeting and assisting guests in the cardio and weight rooms.
Maintaining weight room equipment.
Greeting guests entering the fitness area.
Giving tours of the fitness area.
Directing guests to classes.
Providing above and beyond guest service to guests working out, including offering assistance on machines and offering headphones and cold towels to guests.
Cleaning and inspecting the operation of each piece of weight room equipment on a daily basis.
Ensuring the weight room and cardio room are neat at all times.
Cleaning used headphones to ensure a proper supply for guests.
Re-stocking towels and headphones.
