About The Position
The Fitness Floor Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service and support within the wellness field. This role involves interacting with diverse community members and ensuring a positive experience on the fitness floor. The position offers flexibility with an Early Wage Access program, allowing employees to access earned wages on demand.
Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma preferred
- Minimum of one-year experience in customer service or wellness field preferred
- YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification (completed within 60 days of hire)
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (completed within 30 days of hire)
- New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Blood-borne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service and support on the fitness floor.
- Relate to diverse groups in the community.
- Maintain CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
- Complete New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Blood-borne Pathogens trainings.
- Complete YMCA Healthy Lifestyles certification.
